Of course it's very very funny like all the Andy and Terry books But this book is a bit of a cheat because it's essentially a repeat of Terry's Dumb Dot Story the one they published as a freeby book for World Book Day many of the same words the same plot many similar illustrations just expanded a bit to fill a real sized book Feel a bit cheated

My son is an avid fan of the Treehouse books and has read every one We pre ordered this and have been waiting for it for it for weeks What a disappointment Much of the story is stolen from other writers Beatrix Potty and Peter Poopypants Huge sections repeated over pages and pages to fill the book out We are half way through and my son is bored Doesn't want to read it any I think the authors have got greedy and lazy I really think they did knock this one up in day A huge thumbs down from us Mr Big Nose publisher really should have sent them packing with this one and told them to try again rather than try to cash in

Bit disappointed because a big chunk of this book is a repeat of the Comic Relief Dumb Dot Story which they released a while back as we buy ALL the Treehouse stories we've paid twice As much as we love these stories could it be they are running out of ideas???

Bought this for my daughters birthday because she really loves these books she was very disappointed to find the story is a repeat of Terry’s Dumb Dot story her exact words were “now one if my birthday presents is ruined” such a shame as she was really looking forward to getting this book

it was a good book like all of them but they keep on repeting the same words over and over for example he scraped and scraped and scraped and scraped you get the idea it is not very imaginative and is just a copy of the dumb dot story and i have felt like i have been cheeted on because in the dumb dot story released on world book day the just made it look longer and like a real book you should read it as its amazingand dont blame me or Andy or Terry if you have child drawing a hole on the floor every chance they get and like i said before its not very imaginative well the reson is every escape they make they always use a drawing of a holeit is good sizefont and languish for beginer readers and they will probably like it like i did if you dont like this book try TOM GATES BY LIZ PICHON DIARY OF A WIMPY KID JEFF KENNEY DAVID WALLIAMS BOOKS COMTANCE VALANCE BOOKS or if you like football like i do spurs AKA tottenham hotspurs are the best try CHARLIE FRY ALL FIVE BOOKS or DIARY OF AN AMAZING FRENDLY KID ROWLY JEFFERSONS JOURNAL BY JEFF KENNY ALSO DAV PILKY CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS AND DOG MAN ARE BEST SELLERS TO these are also good for begginers to but charlie fry is a bit harder just letting you know but i need to get on about the one hundred and seventeen story treehouse as that is what the review is about the bit that was imaginative was the story police totaly made up im not being sarcastic it was one of the best books i ever read as it is very attractive im only ten just saying im using my mums reading accountat first i rated it three stars but then chsnged it to four it diddnt take to long to read and suprisingly this review took longer to write then to read the book i hope you enjoy reading the bookif you are going to read which you probably arebest wishesgeorge kirby who wrote this this review all by himself no lie why dont you belive me your mean FINALLY FINISHED TOOK SO LONG NEED WATER FOUND SOME GOOD MORE GOOD NEWS YOUR GONNA READ THIS BOOK NOK MATTER WHAT WHAIT WHAT MORE GOOD NEWS THAT THE ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY STORY TREE HOUSE IS COMING PUT SOON GOOD NEWS OVERI NEED TO STOP WRITING NOW AS IM TAKING TO MUCH SPACE ON THE REVIEW PAGE BYEE

So wants to know if this book met my expectation I could lie and tell Ian that this book was for my son But Andy knows this isn’t true How does he know? Well he is one of the many authors that like to interact with readers on twitter So even if the book was only one star it would earn an extra star just for that As for the book it’s exactly what you would expect from Andy and Terry Would I recommend this book to let’s say an eight year old? Totally would Would I recommend this as a bedtime book? For sureDo I want to hang out with Andy and Terry smashing watermelons? You betcha

My 8 year old is an avid fan of the Treehouse stories This one though is awful The authors have run out of ideas and this was plain as they dipped into other children's stories and effectively pooified them Boring and long repetitive sections It didn't take long to read thankfully The other books are excellent witty and uite clever But this one doesn't hit those heights by a very long way Good for the collection but one my son didn't want to read again
